For those who want to craft their legacy in their own way and at their own pace, we created Luna Portra Mobile, a powerful, dynamic web app available here.

Our app makes it effortless to record your own legacy using video or audio. It is optimized for both desktop and mobile devices, so you can explore it in the palm of your hand. It revolves around a simple, 4-step process, which largely mirrors our In-Person Interview process:

Record your answers using video or audio (in the app, open the sidebar and start by choosing either Autobiographical or Biographical mode, then use the Questions and Answers tabs in the sidebar to begin recording).

Submit your collection of recordings to Luna Portra. There is a 20-answer minimum, but every additional answer adds color, clarity, and depth to your legacy (use the Preferences tab in the sidebar to submit your collection of recordings).

We compile and lightly edit your recordings, producing a Luna Portra Volume. We then store the Volume on our online Library.

Finally, we ship users a Moonstone (5" x 7", granite memorial), which directs visitors (via a QR code) to the user's Volume online.​​​​​

App users should note that there is a small fraction of the app's functionality built exclusively for customers who have purchased In-Person Interview packages. These app components are: the first collapsible section at the top of the app's Questions page (In-Person Interviews) and the Interview section on the app's Preferences page. Conversely, customers who have purchased In-Person Interviews need only concern themselves with those two facets of the app.

Transparent Pricing

Many apps today use frustratingly deceptive tactics to convince users to spend money. Developers also make money using a deluge of advertisements. When developing our app, we sought to keep advertisements out and build a pricing model that was exceptionally simple and boldly transparent, which is why the very first screen new users see in the app displays our exact pricing structure:

The Free Tier allows users to record 5 answers and otherwise explore the app.

The Paid Tier costs $5 a month (users may cancel anytime with ease).

The Submission Fee to have Luna Portra synthesize a user's in-app recordings into a Volume, store their Volume forever, and send them a Moonstone that directs people to their Volume is $300.

Age Rating

Our app is not formally rated. Parents and guardians should understand that our app is intended for adults, though in all our communications we strive to maintain a highly professional and formal standard in an effort to be as digestible as possible for all audiences. However, our app and services deal directly with the notion of death, which may be uncomfortable or even frightening for children, teens, and young adults. Exercise caution and use discretion when using and allowing others under your care to use our app.
